Myrtos is a picturesque, seaside village of southern Crete washed by the Libyan sea
located 14 km west of Ierapetra, 50 km from Agios Nikolaos and 80 km from Heraklion airport. A tourist village where visitors can find everything from shops, with the possibility of day trips to other places in the surrounding areas. Anyone who wants to can also walk or rent a bicycle to explore the village which spreads out in a green valley on the Myrtos river, with orchards with countless olive, lemon, banana and orange trees.
